Kantalop grew from our own experience in consulting, recruitment, and staffing. We wanted a better way to keep track of people’s experience and put it to use when the right opportunity came along.
The work behind every resume
A client sends a role description. You have people in mind, but their experience is spread across CVs, folders, and previous presentations.
You find a resume, check the details, and start preparing a version for the client. The next opportunity brings another round of searching, editing, and formatting.
We kept coming back to this work. Finding the right person depended as much on finding their information as it did on knowing your network.
When a client needs someone, being able to respond quickly with relevant candidates can make a real difference. It helps move the conversation forward and gives the client a clearer path to getting work started.
That takes more than having a large network. You need to know whose experience fits, understand why, and be ready to present it clearly.
Why we built Kantalop
We started Kantalop to make that process easier.
A person’s profile and resume versions belong together. You should be able to search their experience, understand why they might fit a role, and prepare a resume you feel confident sharing.
That is the workflow we are building around. From organizing your people to reviewing a recommendation and presenting someone to a client, each step should help you move forward with the information you already have.
What matters to us
Experience needs context. A skill becomes more useful when you can see where someone used it and what they worked on.
That shapes how we build Kantalop. Search should help you explore that experience. Recommendations should give you something to review. AI suggestions should leave you in control of the wording.
